ISQua EEA’s assessment of quality and patient safety training programmes looks at how the training programme is developed, managed and delivered and how trainee competence is assessed against the training programme’s learning objectives. About the ISQua EEA Assessment Process
The survey process starts with the client getting access to resources and support from the ISQua EEA team. An initial review of your self-assessment tool is completed to ensure that your submission is as comprehensive as possible for survey.
An international peer review surveyor (approved by your organisation) then assesses your self-assessment tool and supporting evidence (in English) over one week and provides a report with exceptional performance comments, recommendations and opportunities for improvement for your training programme. This report is then sent to you for factual accuracy review where you can provide comments on any factual inaccuracies included in the report or if feel that something has been missed.
The final report then goes to the External Evaluation Award Committee for decision. The whole process takes approximately four months.
