Accreditation is more than a quality mark – it is a clear way to demonstrate the value, credibility, and robustness of your training programme. ISQua EEA accreditation provides a structured framework to assess how your training programme is designed, delivered, and maintained.

A recent success story: IBSP

The Brazilian Institute for Patient Safety (IBSP) conceived, developed and manages the PQMSP – Multiprofessional Qualification Programme in Patient Safety,  designed to prepare healthcare professionals to lead tangible changes in care delivery, with a focus on risk reduction, process improvement and the strengthening of a safety culture.

In October 2025, the PQMSP received international recognition from ISQua EEA, for the PQMSP – Multiprofessional Qualification Programme in Patient Safety. In doing so, they became the first programme in Brazil to obtain this endorsement and the third worldwide to achieve such recognition.

Developed in alignment with the World Health Organization’s Patient Safety Curriculum Guide and adapted to the Brazilian healthcare context, the programme delivers robust, ethical and practice-focused education. Its aim is to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to lead effectively, improve patient outcomes and deliver sustainable improvements in patient safety.

The programme comprises over 40 hours of live virtual sessions, in addition to 300 hours of asynchronous content, allowing learners to engage flexibly and according to their schedules. Learners get access to an e-book containing key insights from each session, access to a WhatsApp group with tutors and 12 months’ access to IBSP Conecta Premium.

The feedback from learners speaks for itself as the programme was completed by 70% of students within its first year and achieved a 95% satisfaction rate from more than 200 students. This performance is further supported by the extensive expertise of the faculty and tutoring team, who collectively received a 98% approval rating from participating students.
